Full Moon in Aquarius

Today’s Full Moon occurs at 29” Aquarius at 5:01AM PT (22 August). This is a Blue Moon and the second Full Moon in one calendar month in the same sign (Aquarius). This is easily one of my favourite Full Moons of 2021.

The Moon is conjunct Jupiter and opposite the Sun in Leo. The energy is expansive, good-natured and merciful. It is a lunation that will not only bring closure and endings to themes relating to the houses in the signs of Leo and Aquarius in your natal chart but will also open new pathways because the Moon will be applying to the nodes soon after. For those of us who have been doing the work of being better human beings there will be a confirmation of growth. Watch for a divine blessing or a series of karmic rewards. The Sun-Moon opposition is an invitation to weave a life of service to not only our human brothers and sisters but also all our relatives of all shapes and sizes, seen and unseen.

To me, this lunation feels like a love letter from our Divine Mother. This may be because Venus is in her home sign of Libra in an harmonious trine with Saturn in Aquarius. Saturn in turn, is exalted in Libra. This energy blesses relationships and partnerships of all kinds.

Uranus in Taurus trine Mars in Virgo generates excitement and is helpful in making manifest extraordinary ideas or bringing about practical solutions. However, it can also result in increased anxiety.

This aspect also generates sexual excitement so you may find it hard to keep your clothes on ;)
