Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn & Saturn Retrograde

This is a Big Astro Week. Today Jupiter and Pluto meet up for the second time in Capricorn and we will revisit the same themes initiated by the first conjunction on April 5th. The crowned virus will continue it’s spread and many parts of the world will extend stay-at-home orders. This is further emphasized by Saturn’s retrograde on July 2nd in Capricorn where he joins Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn.
Expect a replay of March/April/May events. The economy will be hit hard although I believe the third Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in November will deliver the critical blow.
On July 4 / 5 we have a Penumbral Lunar (Full Moon) eclipse at 13 degrees Capricorn. A penumbral lunar eclipse takes place when the Moon moves through the faint, outer part of Earth's shadow and is often mistaken for a normal Full Moon.
Exact hours of the eclipse are as follows:
Vancouver July 4th, 9:22 pm (PST)
Edmonton July 4th, 9:07 pm (MST)
Toronto July 5th, 12:29 am (EST)
Individuals most affected by this eclipse will have planets or angles at 13 degrees Capricorn.
This Full Moon will highlight issues around the following:
Authority (Do you have any? How do you intend to claim it?)
Career (Are you ready for a change? What door has opened or closed for you in the last few days?)
Agency and Control (Do you believe in your capacity to influence your thoughts and behavior and do you accept you have the ability to handle a variety of situations?)
Discipline (What does discipline feel and look like to you? How will a disciplined approach help you achieve your goals?)
Practicality (Reading and research is not the same as Doing The Work. What needs to be done?)
A reminder not to charge any magical items like crystals during this Lunar Eclipse.
This is a very Saturnian week, as the eclipse happens in Saturn-ruled Capricorn and Saturn is in his final months in Capricorn. You can choose to honour Saturn this week, by introducing more discipline or structure into your life. This could be anything from getting up a little earlier to meditate to starting a new discipline/practice.
Saturn like Jupiter is a teacher so when retrograde he’s interested in seeing whether we've integrated and applied learnings. And, he will test our commitment.
