Moon In Capricorn
The Moon is waning in her Last Quarter phase is the earthy sign of Capricorn. The Last Quarter Moon is the halfway point between the Full Moon and New Moon. The Quarter phases (waxing and waning) deserve our attention because they represent the internal shifts between the two major phases - Full and New.

The brilliant astrologer Dane Rudhyar referred to the waning Last Quarter phase as a “crisis in consciousness”. A crisis in consciousness occurs when our actions are not aligned with our beliefs or feelings. So the Last Quarter phase is primarily a time of re-orientation and assimilation.
Tension is also present during this half-full phase because the Sun and Moon are at right angles to each other. In astrology, this angle is known as a “square”. Squares equal tension.
Tension, writes astrologer Sue Tompkins, spurs us into action and it is tension that stretches us, that makes us grow, makes us become more of the person that we are.
Underlying tension or strain may be making itself known to you at this time if you are feeling undecided or “divided”. The general “vibe” during a Last Quarter Moon is “Do I continue with X or do I end X?”
You decide.
Other feelings that may arise at this time are feelings of “stuckness” or fear of change.
Remember you are not stranded in bleached space. You have at your fingertips access to innumerable universes and with the last Full Moon’s blessing, you are in possession of new information, fresh insight, and additional resources.
Here is a fresh invitation to flesh out your ideas and/or continue with the good work you started at or after the New Moon.
While the waning Last Quarter phase is not the best time to launch anything in the outer world it does bless and inspire planning, reviewing, sorting and closing. So for example: If you haven’t yet submitted your tax return now is a good time to do so.
Lastly, in Capricorn, the Moon invites us to build structure into our lives. Routine has always been important because it helps build resilience and we all need more of that during this time, so if you haven’t done so already, set a schedule for rising, meals and bedtime. Get dressed and fill your days with projects and catch up with friends over video.
