The Week Ahead (13-19 September) Sun-Neptune Opposition
The Moon is in her First Quarter Phase in Sagittarius. While this is one of the more favourable Moon phases to push forward on achieving our goals, we have a Sun-Neptune opposition on Tuesday the 14th that is going to confuse and distort. The energy is one of second-guessing, and self-sabotage. You may doubt yourself and you may find yourself doubting others and their intentions.
Don’t be surprised if you end up binge-watching Netflix or reading romance, fantasy or dystopian novels instead of working. (Especially problematic if you are self-employed or working from home).
The Moon in Sagittarius (today and tomorrow) doesn’t like feeling tied down. This Moon doesn’t do "normal" or everyday routine work well so the start to this week will find us listing the things we would do if we won the lottery jackpot and dreaming of traveling to exotic destinations. The Sun-Neptune opposition will continue with this theme of “freedom”. Be aware that the information you gather this week from others and even the Spirit world will be of little practical use. There's a lot of "what ifs". Wait before making any major decisions.
Do not quit your day job.
If you are aware that you are someone who is inclined to believe that you can save others from themselves, this opposition is going to heighten that illusion. You can’t make someone change. A person must want to change in order to change. This is also when I remind you that no one is coming to save you. You get to save yourself.
This is also going to be one of those weeks where people are going to want to unload their problems because chances are you are receptive (thanks to Neptune) but do make the time to protect yourself from toxic people who may want to take advantage of your good nature.
I would like to emphasize here that toxic people are people who try to control, manipulate or intimidate you. The word NO is your most powerful ally this week as is a good ol' sea salt scrub and bath.
I will be back tomorrow with more details on the rest of this week’s major aspects.
