The Week Ahead 19-25 July

19-July Mercury square Chiron
A painful aspect between the planet of communication and the centaur associated with our primal wound will raise issues today around self-doubt and self-sufficiency. Something may come up that will make you feel flawed or not “good enough” in some way. The gift comes from Mercury in Cancer who reminds us to communicate with compassion. The best conversations happen when you feel heard and seen and where you in turn, engage with empathy. Focus on healing.
20-July Mercury sextile Uranus
A day that promises a fresh perspective or new insight.
22-July Sun enters Leo. Venus enters Virgo. Venus opposite Jupiter.
We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. – Marianne Williamson
The Sun in Leo reminds us to shine our light. I will expand on Venus in Virgo in a separate post but here is a quick reminder that you can find pleasure in the smallest and seemingly trivial, everyday things. Venus opposite Jupiter is an excellent aspect for writers, publishers, artists and anyone who works in public relations. Share your work!
24-July Full Moon in Aquarius. Mercury trine Neptune.
This is a Summer dominated by Aquarius energy (two Full Moons in Aquarius). Again we are reminded of our role within our community and how we support others. There is a strong “me” vs “them” pull this week. Do your best to not make everything about you. Focus instead on improving the lives of others in a positive way. Mercury trine Neptune is a wonderfully imaginative and charismatic aspect. Journal, paint, write, speak!
25-July Mercury opposite Pluto
This aspect will bring home the truth that our thoughts create our reality. Be super vigilant with your thoughts as you may find yourself catastrophizing (seeing unfavourable outcomes to events). You may have an intense, powerful reaction to someone’s words or ideas on this day.
