Welcome to October!

This is an astrologically busy month and that implies big changes ahead! Venus enters Sagittarius on the 7th, Sun conjoins Mars the same day, four planets (Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mercury) station direct, Sun enters Scorpio on the 22nd and Mars enters Scorpio on the 30th. This month brings an end to months-long delays which will see us moving ahead on projects and achieving goals.

October 1: Mercury Rx in Libra square Pluto Rx in Capricorn

A secret may be disclosed or you may learn something surprising about someone - quite possibly an authority or someone in a position of power - today. Great day for investigative work because these two planets invite a re-examination of evidence in a literal sense. We are encouraged to work through issues related to our sense of agency.

October 2: Venus in Scorpio sextile Pluto Rx in Capricorn

You may gain something or benefit somehow from a higher-up or person of authority today (a new client, a promotion or bonus?). This aspect often encourages a change in appearance or change of decor. You may be thinking of revisiting a previous “look” (haircut, style) or aesthetic. A great day to decorate your ancestral altar or clean up family graves/tombs.

October 3: Mercury Rx in Libra trine Jupiter Rx in Aquarius

A good day for reviewing and revisiting any writing, speaking or publishing projects. Also a great day to revisit a subject with a teacher or mentor. Not a great day for travel especially if you are Mercury-ruled or have Mercury in your 3rd or 9th House. Remember Mercury is Retrograde. Expect delays if you are traveling.
